Andy began playing guitar in his teens in high school and quickly developed into a promising young musician.He immediately began performing in the high school band, before forming his own band the 'Accentrics' a nine piece funk band, where he wrote and arranged the music.

Accentrics played in some of Sydney’s most prestiges venues, including the Harbourside Brasserie which was a popular musical hub for jazz and funk artists to showcase their music.

Shortly after, Andy joined his first professional band 'Baby Loves To Cha Cha' a hard working funk/soul outfit regularly playing four to five nights a week in and around Sydney.'Baby Loves To Cha Cha' has proved to be one of Sydney's most popular, hard working bands, with many a talented musician and singer having performed in this classic band.

After 'Baby Loves to Cha Cha' Andy co-founded 'Jellybean Jam' arguably one of Sydney's most popular and long lasting party bands. 'Jellybean Jam' have been consistently performing for over twenty years, winning a handful of awards along the way. Andy stayed with Jellybean Jam for a number of years, before leaving to pursue other musical interests.

Andy performed in a wide variety of bands and duos until finally collaborating with Nicolette Kenny to form 'Hooray For Everything'. Andy had previously work with Nicolette in 'Baby Loves To Cha Cha' and 'Peppermint Jam' and formed a musical bond and friendship that has lasted well over twenty years.This combined love of music and performance is at the heart of the success of 'Hooray For Everything'.

Andy is also a much sort after guitar teacher and has many happy students which he teaches online and face to face from his home in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.Over the last thirty years, Andy has taught thousands of students in various music schools including the Eastern Suburbs Academy of Music in Bondi Junction, and privately from his residence in Rose Bay.

Andy’s talents are not just confined to music.He is also a talented professional photographer who specializes in children’s portraiture.
